PRAISE
Our "Mystery Island" VBS got off to a great start last night!  The adventure continues this week from 6:30-8:30 PM, tonight through Thursday.  VBS is for all kids age K4 - 5th grades, and includes Bible lessons, games, sno-cones each night, and the "funny-money" store.  Be sure to bring your kids and grandkids this week!

REMINDER:  Due to VBS this week, there will be no other midweek ministry activities on Wednesday night.  Adult Bible studies, ALIVE Student Ministries, College & Career, and Choir Rehearsal will all resume Wednesday, July 21st.

PRAYER
Tom Quattlebaum is still at the hospital awaiting further tests to determine when he might go home.  He is in good spirits, and is praising the Lord for his progress.  It has been a roller-coaster ride since his surgery two weeks ago, and he is praying he may be released soon.

Jim (Barbara) Strickland was in the hospital a few days last week due to an infection in his foot.  He was released Friday evening and is home recuperating.

Sympathy:  Jimmy Gunter's brother-in-law passed away last week.  They traveled this weekend to attend the services.  Willie Cochran's niece also passed away last week.

We have also received several unspoken prayer requests from church members recently.  "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2
